From the doorstep of Korali Garden to the golden dunes of the south, Naxos offers some of the most beautiful coastlines in Greece. Here are our top 5 recommendations for your holiday.
1. Saint George Beach (Agios Georgios) The Most Convenient: This is our "home" beach, located just a 10-minute walk from Korali Garden. The Vibe: Family-friendly and lively. It’s perfect for a quick morning swim or an evening cocktail at one of the many seaside cafes. Why Guests Love It: The water is very shallow and warm, making it the safest choice for children. It also hosts several windsurfing schools for the adventurous! 2. Saint Prokopios (Agios Prokopios) The Award-Winner: Consistently voted one of the best beaches in Europe, this beach is famous for its thick, grain-like sand that doesn’t stick to your skin. The Vibe: Upscale and organized. You will find comfortable sunbeds, turquoise waters that look like a postcard, and great beach bars. Travel Tip: It is only 5km from the hotel. You can easily reach it by the local bus that stops nearby or a short bike ride. 3. Plaka Beach The Endless Horizon: An extension of Saint Prokopios, Plaka is a massive 4km stretch of white sand and sand dunes. The Vibe: Bohemian and spacious. It offers a mix of organized beach bars and wide-open "free" spaces where you can set up your own umbrella. Best For: Long walks at sunset. The view toward the neighboring island of Paros is spectacular from here. 4. Hawaii Beach (Alyko) The Hidden Gem: Located within a protected cedar forest, this is for those who want to escape the organized beach clubs. The Vibe: Exotic and wild. There are no umbrellas or bars here—just red cliffs, white sand, and crystal-clear water. Don't Miss: The nearby ruins of an abandoned hotel covered in incredible street art. 5. Mikri Vigla (Sahara Side) The Peaceful Retreat: While one side of the cape is for windsurfers, the "Sahara" side is a vast, calm bay with soft golden sand. The Vibe: Serene and quiet. Even in the middle of August, you can always find a peaceful spot to relax. Best For: Snorkeling. The rocky edges of the bay are home to plenty of Mediterranean sea life.
